The little doily shown  fits on the inside of the basket to use alone

or with the liner shown inside the basket.

 

Materials Used for Models:

    32 count Belfast Linen - white from Zweigart Fabrics

    DMC Pearl Cotton size 12 and 8 - white

    Mill Hill seed beads #A3021 Antique Glass Beads - Ivory

    DMC 6 strand embroidery floss 

 

Stitch Count (over 2 threads):  124 wide by 124 high (over 2 threads). 

 

Approx. Size:    7-3/4" x 7-3/4".  The liner is stitched on the diagonal and the little "doily" that fits inside the basket can be made out of the same piece of fabric.  Be sure to add at least 3 inches to the "Approx. Size" when purchasing fabric.

 

Basket Size:  2-7/8" diameter and 2" high.  The basket can be obtained through your local needlework shop (they can order directly through us) or you can use our online catalog.

 

Stitches Used:  Kloster (satin), Buttonhole, Four-Sided, Pulled Half Stitch, Cross Stitch, and beaded Cross.

 

Additional Notes or Revisions:

It is important to use 32count fabric in order for the liner to fit the basket, otherwise adjustments will be necessary.
