❤ Q-SNAP GRIME GUARDS:
 
The ORIGINAL QSnaps are white (including corners), are a tube and clamp needlework frame and are made in the USA by the company Q-Snap.  They sell their frames based on the OUTSIDE edge measurements (includes the corners).  An 8x8" QSnap has an outside perimeter of approximately 32"
My grime guards are based on the ORIGINAL QSnaps made in the USA - NOT the knock-offs made in any other country.
 
IF you have a 'KNOCK-OFF' brand (most likely made in other countries such as China)
           1) Measure the length of your QSnaps along the OUTSIDE edge (perimeter).
           2) Choose a grime shield size based on the 'minimum perimeter'
         * If your measurement is more than 1" greater than the perimeter of my Q-Snaps you have two options:
           a) Ask me to make your grime guard based on YOUR measurement ( order the next larger size AND message me your actual perimeter) OR
           b) choose the next larger size and adjust the length of the elastic as needed. To adjust the elastic, tie a knot, sew it or use a strong safety pin (like a diaper pin).  Your grime guard will have more gathering.

❤ SCROLL ROD GRIME GUARDS.
To order SCROLL ROD Grime Guards:
1) Measure the length of your scroll rods.
2) Choose a grime shield size between the length of your scroll rods and 4" more.
         * A grime shield the length of your scroll rod will lie flat and the elastic will be tighter.
         * A grime shield longer than the length of your scroll rods will have a gather to it and you may need to tighten the elastic so it is a little tighter.  To adjust the elastic, tie a knot, sew it or use a strong safety pin (like a diaper pin). 
         * Personally I like a little gather, so I would choose something in the middle. For an 18" scroll rod I would choose an 16-20" set or 18-22" set.
HOW TO USE:  Assemble your project on your Q-Snaps, Hoop or Scroll Rods then easily slip the Grime Guard over your stitching and tuck loose fabric into the Grime Guard if desired. 
MADE IN THE USA:
         * Each grime guard is made to order of high quality cotton fabric, fabric and coordinating polyester thread in my smoke free home.
         * Standard size for QSnaps and Scroll Rods are approximately 4” wide and hoops are approximately 2-3" wide.
          * If you are working on a larger project and would like to tuck your stitching fabric inside the cover, choose the 5" wide option (if shown) or request a custom order for something wider.  
         * If you would like a size not listed in the options, please contact me using ‘ask a question’ near the option selections for your special requests.
         * Larger sizes may contain more than one seam. If more than one seam is needed I will do my best to match the pattern so appear 'seam-less'.
         * Our Grime Guards are washable and ready to add a SMILE :) to your next stitching project! 
         * We do NOT wash the fabric before shipping, IF you are concerned about the colors bleeding onto your stitching fabric be sure to wash your grime shields before using them.  We can NOT be responsible for color transfer to your project, especially with dark fabrics.  Machine wash cold, tumble dry on low or air dry.
         * Fabrics with GLITTER (manufactured with glitter on them) adds a little MAGIC and extra smiles while stitching.  However, the glitter may transfer to your stitching area, thus if you are concerned PLEASE WASH YOUR GRIME GUARD before using them.

1 Button N-Minder -  includes ONE Fabric Covered Button (1 magnet on inside of button) AND ONE 3/4" diameter neodymium magnet.  Use as a needle minder, chart holders or refrigerator magnets
 
2 Button N-Minder - includes TWO Fabric Covered Buttons  (magnets are on inside of each button). Use as a needle minder that is easy to attach and remove because there is more to hold onto.  OR use as chart holders or refrigerator magnets
 
Please note, the fabric will be random images of the same fabric used for these grime guards.   If you prefer a select portion of the design from the fabric, you MUST message me.
 
MAGNET WARNINGS:
         * These are VERY STRONG magnets and SHOULD to be used with CAUTION, kept away from electronics, small children and people with medical devices as they are hazardous.  Because the magnets are so strong they will hold your needles more securely than most magnets but need a little extra care when using them:
         * Always be VERY mindful of how many and where your needles are because they can be dangerous and/or painful - I learned the hard way at a young age!
         * When removing the magnets SLIDE them apart instead of pulling them apart. They are EXTREMELY powerful and will 'fly' towards each other if left too close to each other, metal or are held insecurely.)  Due to the strength of the magnets they may cause damage at impact.
